Why flock a Christmas tree?
Flocked Christmas trees are a pretty common sight during the holiday season. The reason why is that flocked Christmas trees are so versatile, you can use them anywhere. Flocking can be used indoors or outdoors, on living trees and artificial trees, bushes, wreathes, and garlands.
The best way to achieve a white Christmas is to use flocking. A flocked Christmas tree will truly bring that natural feel of a snowy Christmas right into your home. Extend that look throughout your home by using Christmas decorations that are frosted, iced, and glitter. Decorations that are traditionally outdoors, like snowmen (fake ones!) and reindeer can be brought inside and given a light dusting. You can also purchase fake snow and place it along the baseboards of your living areas to create a white Christmas, indoors.
To get a flocked Christmas tree that really sparkles icy white, decorate the tree with silver tinsel (white is not reflective), frosted glass bulbs, and little icicles. Besides the obvious outdoor look of the icicles, they usually have bumps on them that reflect the Christmas lights and send rays of Christmas shine everywhere.
